Boost immune system
What is the function of the immune system? The immune system protects the body from infection by creating and maintaining barriers that prevent bacteria and viruses from entering the body. If a pathogen breaches the barriers, and gets into the body the:
Innate immune system equipped with specialized cells that detect, and often eliminate, the invader before it is able to reproduce, potentially causing serious injury to the host. This means that the cells of the innate system recognize, and respond to, pathogens in a generic way. The innate system does not confer long-lasting or protective immunity to the host A pathogen that successfully evades the innate immune cells faces a second barrier:
The Adaptive Immune System: It is through the adaptive response that the immune system gains the ability to recognize a pathogen. It is composed of highly specialized, systemic cells and processes that eliminate pathogenic challenges. The adaptive or specific immune system is activated by the “non-specific” innate immune system. It is the adaptive immune response that provides the immune system with the ability to recognize and remember specific pathogens, and to mount stronger attacks each time the pathogen is encountered. This is adaptive immunity because the body's immune system prepares itself for future challenges

Stress effect to immune system Stress has an effect on the whole of your body it is one of the major causes of disease. DIS - EASE is best described as a body that is ill at ease with itself. One of the quickness ways to suppress the immune system is being under stress. Due to our diet, lifestyle, and environment, it can be a hard one to get under control, but if we make a concerted effort to improve our diet following the tips from above and look at ways to change our lifestyle, such as doing a bit more exercise, which I find it one of the best stress releases after a hard day at work. Then there are always relaxation classes or just taking 20mins out of your day to listen to a relaxation tape or a piece of music that makes you feel good on the inside, and puts a smile back on your face. Meditation is another area to investigate, a lot of people will say that they can’t relax, focus, or sit still long enough to meditate, there are many moving meditations you could do like, Tai-Chi, walking and swimming all of which helps you to switch off your mind and relax.
